Well, since the Hyppie got reprinted, I figured it was time to put up an old favorite of mine: Black Death. Half black suicide, half discard, this is one of my favorite casual decks to play.

Black Creatures:

4 hypnotic spector
4 silent spector
4 carnophage
4 dauthi slayer

Black Spells:

4 dark ritual
4 unholy strength
2 bad moon
4 duress
2 mind twist
2 terror
1 drain life
2 megrim

Artifact:

3 lightning greaves

Land:

20 swamp

--------------------------------------

The strategy is simple: swing fast, swing often. Card advantage is easy to get: your cards are easy to play and his cards in hand and cards in play will soon go bye-bye. Hypnotic spector on turn 1 can pretty well win a game by itself, especially if followed by some creature control.

This deck can run out of steam if faced with a tough defense, though, so maybe stock some phyrexian arenas to keep your hand full. Other than that, this is a pretty good deck. It’s not a championship level deck, but hey, I’m using two copies of a restricted card! I’m concerned about casual play here.

Thanks for checking out my deck. If you see any weak points, and have any suggestions, feel free to comment! Any help is welcome.

See ya!

Since you got a good amount of discard, why not put in an Avatar of Woe Twisted Evil .
Remember, it's never not good to learn grammar.

Current Decks: Affinity type 1.X
Upcoming Decks: Death Pits of Rath T2

I have always like Hunted Horror. I think it would be an awesome card in sui black in place of Phyrexian Negator. Negator is good but Hunted Horror might be better. Protection for Black will be a problem but it is nothing a Diabolic/Cruel/Chainer's Edict can't handle.
