It's amazing, if I may say so myself! The product of 3-4 hours work.
Hover over a link to see the image of the card. Images will not load until you need them. This should work in all themes. If you have any issues or it doesn't work as expected, please let me know! Also, make sure you are using a modern browser with JavaScript enabled.
A couple of thoughts:
1) If the image loads off-screen, wiggle the mouse a little after it finishes loading.
(EDIT: seems to work also if you move the mouse once it starts loading).
(EDIT2: From my testing, IE7 moves the image automatically, while Firefox displays it faster).
2) I will be replacing the full-sized images with smaller images soon. This should cut back on load times.
Also, with the backend code I have introduced a new BBC tag. It is !called [card]. Use it to surround any words you want to have them link and popup an image of a LotR card. You need to know the five character ID for the card, usually the set and card numbers. In the DB it's the xxxxx from LOTRxxxxx.html. Example:
You think it's bad in California? There are [card=01343]worse places to live![/card]
Displays as:
You think it's bad in California? There are worse places to live!
I may be able to add a button for it later if people want it. Enjoy! :mrgreen:

Morning updates and fixes:
- Finished uploading smaller pics which are now used for the image popup. They are fairly small on large resolutions, but I think they are big enough that you can read the text. Lore might be a little hard to make out, but you can always click to see the full size. Incidentally, are people going to find errors in the DB anymore? :-\
- I had inadvertently broken links to the actual html pages in the DB. Fixed.
- Added Autolink to PM's and post previews.

Here's the way I look at TLHH:
Kralik is the tech administrator -- fixes bugs, edits source code, adds features, etc.
Dain is the social administrator -- manages forums, adds smileys, chooses mods, etc.

Oh, BTW, is there any way that we can set it up so that we get the whole image? Like, maybe a forum layout setting where we can look at the entire full-size image as opposed to the miniature version? b/c I have a pretty fast connection and the loading time for these are exactly 0.01 nanoseconds. (j/k, but they're pretty fast).

Just for you, NB! Medium-sized will be default, but...
Profile-->Look and Layout Preferences-->Use full-size card images with [card] tag. EDIT: See below.
On a related note, if AutoLink really bugs anyone and they'd rather not see it, I could probably put in an option to either enable/disable it. But only if it's worth the time. ;)

I'm really silly :clown: because I just noticed that the autolink works when you hover over the card title. This feature is simply awesome. Thanks so much for doing that Kralik, have a :gp: for more of your hard work. You're amazing!

Hopefully some of you who may have noticed that it stopped working are checking back now... and others who don't know what I'm talking about will find out soon!
I decided that I want this feature disabled for guests. Therefore, the default setting is OFF. You will be able to choose from Small, Medium, and Large (Full-Sized) in your Profile options. Medium is not there yet, but I will be adding it very soon. In the meantime, go to your Profile-->Look and Layout Preferences. At the bottom of the screen you will see "Image preview for [card] tags:" Select your preferred option. :)

...And there you have it! Choose from OFF, Small, Medium, or Large. Medium is my choice.
