Title: how to counter wargs

hello everyone!

i find wargs a real pain in the a** when playing against them... any ideas how to counter them?

Skirmish events, direct wounding, Roll of Thunder, choking...these all come to mind.

I beat wargs twice yesterday in Towers Standard with a bit of attrition.

yeah, i've never had TOO much trouble with them. they can be kindof annoying, but never really killer for me. make sure they can't keep their conditions on the table, and you should be fine. if they are hitting the regroup with a ton of vitality, and that condition that lets them exert for wounds, i can see where you could have some trouble. at that point maybe drop all 9 comps on the table and stick it to the man.

I don't know who said it, but wargs are 2 card nazgul. once I realized this, I never used them again. If TS has any sort of discarding, then discard would hurt them, in theory

I agree. Besides, wargs lose hands down to a good rohan deck, courtesy of TMOTR. They eat too much pool to be effective, and in comparison to nazgul they need 2 cards to work with.
