Title: Are events cumulative and how many times can Southron Traveler do his response?

1.  So if I play Two of the same skirmish event (I.e. 2x War and Valor) on the same companion granting a strength bonus of +2, will my companion be +4 for that skirmish?  Are events cumulative in this way?

2. Southron Traveler’s Response Says pay 3 twilight to prevent a wound a Southron.  Can he do this any number of times during multiple skirmishes Involving other Southrons during the same turn as long as the cost can be paid?
