4x 4C137 Attack on Helm's Deep
3x 4U148 • Down to the Last Child
2x 4C198 Uruk Stormer
2x 4R160 • Mauhúr, Patrol Leader
3x 4R176 • Uglúk, Servant of Saruman
3x 4C181 Uruk Chaser
2x 4C193 Uruk Runner
3x 4R163 No Dawn for Men
4x 4C210 We Are the Fighting Uruk-hai
4x 4R245 Southron Archer
3x 4R219 Desert Lord
Shadow Total 33
Control as many sites as possible and drop the bomb of 3-4 southron archers, hopefully with a couple No Dawn For Men used at previous sites. Works pretty well if I don't draw 3 southron archers by site 2 XD The reason I chose trackers as opposed to other uruks is because they are relatively cheap and fierce, and therefor can win more skirmishes and get more tokens on Down to the Last Child.

Interesting to use [Isengard] trackers with the site control mechanics. I've played a deck like this in Movie Block for a while now that has been pretty successful. That has a well-cycling free peoples, but with the exception of Smeagol, Poor Creature, there aren't a lot of great cycling Free Peoples cards in Tower Block.

He is in my fellowship, along with rohan. It cycles well enough. I assume you mean Tower block :P My movie version of this deck is killer fun, stacks the 4 archers on preparations till site 7 or so, then drops Gothmog, LoM and the 4 archers for 24+ wounds at site 8 or so  Plus, since I can stack all they guys on prep, I can play 2-3 at an earlier site for some minor punishment

I don't mind people seeing it coming, they can't stop it :D but each to his own.

I agree with that. Looks like a cool deck to play. I like that you use No Dawn for Men. I always thought that it was an interesting card.
Is there any way to shuffle discarded Southron Archer from your discard pile into your draw deck in Tower block? That would help you.

Wait, what? You can play guys off of Preparations?

Rest By Blind Night or Restless Axe can recycle cards that you stack on Preparations back into your deck.

Ya that sounds better.

I don't even understand how playing southron archer is worth it. when are you ever going to play 2 of them at the same time to get their game text to apply. sounds pretty conditional to me... have you actually gotten that spot another southron to make archery plus 1 for each site bonus many times at all?
-
I haven't played the deck in ages, but with cycling and gimli, doe to put them to the bottom early on, I can usually get about 3 out in one go. It is hit or miss, but the trackers have some power too, so it works.
-
Where do you keep the archers before you drop the bomb? In your hand? Won't that clog?
-
Read the post above yours :P
-
that doesn't work in towers though, preparations is a return of the king card
-
No prep, just gimli, DOE

hmm, I'll have to add him into my deck then, thanks
