Title: Stupid Question
Post by: DeWolf on April 12, 2016, 07:37:41 PM
Sorry for the dumb question but I just wanted to make absolutely sure. Are the ringwraith and wraith cultures the same? Meaning can a movie block nazgul spot a shadows wraith culture minion and vice versa? I figure they are the same culture since the symbols are the same but because of the new minion alignments created in shadows, I wanted to make sure that they are actually considered the same culture and don't just share an identical symbol.

Yes they are.  I have no idea why Decipher decided to confuse things by changing their name.  It's not like they ever really expanded on the Barrow Wights (who could be argued to be wraiths and not ringwraiths)  to justify it.

Thanks, it really is a puzzling decision.

Same culture, but different races.

The idea was to incorporate other forms of wraiths, such as the barrow wraiths and the dead ones from the Dead Marshes but they never got to it since they lost the lisence.
