Title: U Based Aggro? Yup.
Post by: SomeRandomDude on October 17, 2008, 10:15:49 AM
Etherium Sculptor. Master of Etherium. Any questions?

// Deck file for Magic Workstation (http://www.magicworkstation.com)

// Lands
    6 [ALA] Island (1)
    6 [10E] Plains (1)
    4 [SHM] Reflecting Pool
    4 [LRW] Wanderwine Hub
    4 [SHM] Mystic Gate

// Creatures
    4 [ALA] Master of Etherium
    4 [ALA] Sharding Sphinx
    4 [ALA] Sanctum Gargoyle
    4 [ALA] Ethersworn Canonist
    4 [ALA] Etherium Sculptor
    4 [10E] Ornithopter

// Spells
    4 [LRW] Oblivion Ring
    4 [ALA] Courier's Capsule
    4 [10E] Mind Stone

I also play this style in block, running Obelisks over Mind Stone and dropping the Ornithopter for another crit.

I personally don't like mana development in typical aggro, I think it tends to be counterproductive. Aggro-control, though, is a totally different matter. However, for blue-based aggro, I'd stick with Faeries.

Aw...but running affinity-style artifact smashers is fun. Faeries are so...boring. They win hands down every time. :P

Not anymore, opening with Ponder is not nearly as good as suspending Ancestral Vision, unfortunately.
