Title: Legendary crits

I know that you cant have more than one copy of a Legendary creature out, that they both get put in the graveyard, so can I play Rhys the Exiled and Rhys the Redeemed... or are they the same person?

Actually, you can. Its not like LotR with title/subtitle. However, the planeswalkers have a new rule that if they share a type, they both get sent to the graveyard. So you can't play Ajani Goldmane and Ajani Vengeant simultaneously.

Yep, title take into consideration the full title. Planeswalkers take into consideration the subtype,

None of them are really that great, except maybe in Block format, and even so, again, not that great. But I remember seeing Rhys in some elven decks back when he first came out.
