Howdy, all!
I used to play, but my local game store stopped stocking it after Realms of the Elf Lords, and I gave away most of my collection years ago. All I held onto were the Rares and Foils! Most of which are from Realms of the Elf Lords.
The notable cards (based on what I could find by way of pricing online):
1 2R86 Wraith-World Ringwraith 1.99
1 3R1 Book of Mazarbul Dwarven 2.99
1 3R21 Long-Knives of Legolas Elven 6.99
1 3R68 Saruman, Keeper of Isengard Isengard 12.99
1 3R71 Tower of Orthanc Isengard 4.99
1 3R71 FOIL Tower of Orthanc Isengard 9.99
2 3R81 Gates of the Dead City Ringwraith 7.99
2 3R104 Tower of Barad-Dur Sauron 3.99
2 3R113 The Shire Countryside Shire 6.99
The full list as a Google Spreadsheet (most of the others are foil commons and uncommons, or under $1 rares): https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1tmPqtouV8AV-JkZ2aCN9S6A0u0YwH89lEmeBS9_us-w/edit?usp=sharing
Incidentally, I hold no expectation of getting the listed price for them, I just went to ccg-singles.com to get an idea of ballpark of what they were worth at one point, and to get an idea of what the chase rares are.

Best of luck with the sale. The reality is, the lot of cards would likely fetch less than $15 USD, even in the most bullish market.
While Saruman, Keeper of Isengard is great in the Fellowship format (X-Listed in other formats) and The Shire Countryside is useful in looping decks, the other cards are not particularly strong, especially for a card game long dead.
If you ask me, I think you should invest another $20 or so and buy a few lots. Introduce some new friends to the game, and enjoy!
Best,

If I had the time, I would. But with two minions at home, occasionally busting out my old Magic The Gathering decks is about all I can manage!
Honestly, I'd just like to get the LotR cards over to someone else who could make more use of them than I can. If I cover my postage and handling costs, I'd be happy. :P
Incidentally, I do also have a set of the three elven rings of power -- Narya, Nenya, Vilya, but I always liked the set, so I'm probably just going to hold onto those. Maybe frame them sometime as a tribute to my geekery.
