Title: Foils, Foreign language cards
Post by: sdpsc on February 28, 2017, 08:28:19 AM
I have a bunch of extra foils, plus a bunch of foreign language cards (mostly German, I think).  The German cards include all sets, with Masterworks foils.

Is there a market for this stuff, and what's the best way to try and sell it?  I'm not sure how much German Masterworks foils would even go for if I sold them individually.

I'd say the language should barely affect the price, however could be a selling point for some collectors. While there was more active trading community I always tried to exchange my non english foils for english copies one on one. As for market... depends on what set the MWs are from, 11-13 are fairly common and I doubt there is a high chance selling them. On the other hand MWs from set 15, 17 and 18 are fairly expensive and some people are still looking for them.

For prices I usually check ebay and some online stores and go for the lower one (not counting out of stock stuff from stores).

Maybe I'll split them up into a few lots and put them on eBay.  Thanks!
