Here is a math question that I was curious about, and I have no idea what to do with it.
Does (2x)/3 = (2/3)x?

Yes
You can swap the order of division and multiplication (though not with addition or subtraction). So if you start with 2, multiply by x (to get 2x) and divide by 3, you get the same result as if you divided by 3 (to get 2/3) and multiplied by x.

Thanks! We were talking about graphing linear equations the other day, and the teacher wrote the equation 2x/3, and I think that as the first time I saw someone (in a slope-intercept equation) write the x with the fraction.
