Title: Ways to abuse Saved from the Fire: Post ideas here!

I've always though Saved from the Fire had great broken combo pontential. Any ideas?
Maybe you could use Saved from the Fire to burn a Dwarf Guard or Lorien Elf to help fetch stuff.

There's nothing really broken in SftF. One of its funnier uses is with [Gondor] Wraiths - you kill a Wraith which removes all the threats allowing you to play more Wraiths! :)

Other good combos are burning Gandalf or Radagast then playing them again with Sent Back or the Pinnacle of Zirakzigil or Well Met Indeed (like starting Leader of Men, burning him and fetching Sent Back, a Glamdring and another Gandalf with an ability). And then there's always the Falls of Rauros which is awesome! :uh-huh:

But nothing strikes me as broken.

thran is correct about not being broken, but probably the closest to it is the SftF/ninja gollum combo. if you have smeagol in your starting fellowship, burn hum with SftF and pick up 3x little snuffler. if you have any luck, you'll already have one in hand before that, and you end up with gollom dishing out 4 wounds at site 2 which means the ring-bearer might die. or at least, somebody will. it's a good surprise to spring and screw-up your opponent's synergy. noone expects to lose a key companion at site 2.
