Okay here is the problem. My friend has a Lorien Swordsman deck. He starts Legolas, Prince of Mirkwood and a Lorien Swordsman. Now he actually has a Legolas, Greenleaf but DOESN'T USE HIM!!!!!!!!. The reson is he believes that Legolas isin't an Archer because of his last text. But I say that you still have to take his archery wound. WHO IS RIGHT?
-
If Greenleaf doesn't use his special ability he still adds to the archery total.
-
Legolas only does not add to the archery total if his ability is used at least once in an archery phase. The rest of the time, he does. This is because the sentence "Legolas does not add to the fellowship archery total" is part of his archery special ability, not a separate line of text.

Okay, thanks guys.

They wouldn't bother printing 'Archer' on Greenleaf if he couldn't ever add to the freep archery total. Kinda obvious. :)'
-
Well, there are some cards that can spot archers. An interesting idea, certainly, archers-that-aren't-archers. But that's my DC brain talking.
The ";" in his ability joins it together as a whole. Grammr rulz.

Gog,
Was this the guy that was supposed to sign in here as Erkenbrand?
