So I've started playing with control decks some more lately and I found that the greatest mechanic that a control player can have is flash. Flash enables you to keep mana open AND drop creatures without fear.
In standard, the only way to do this well is with faeries, so let's take a shot.
Sunken Ruins x 4
Secluded Glen x 4
Reflecting Pool x 4
Faerie Conclave x 2
Swamp x 4
Island x 4
Mutavault x 2
Bitterblossom x 4
Spellstutter Sprite x 4
Scion of Oona x 4
Mistbind Clique x 4
Vendillion Clique x 3
Sower of Temptation x 2
Cryptic Command x 4
Broken Ambitions x 4
Familiar's Ruse x 3
Agony Warp x 4
So here's the build I'm looking at. Any thoughts? The Ruse is supposed to provide synergy with the Spellstutters.

I'd sideboard Pupeteer Clique, mainly because YOU don't have that many nice creatures to get back anyway, and I'd DEFINITELY play a 4th Mistbind Clique, it's what wins games. Also, you have 4 cip tapped lands (the Conclaves) that cost 2 to activate and only 3 Mutavaults, and you're playing less lands than I'd like to see in Faeries. I'd stick with 4 Mutavaults and 2 Conclaves TOPS (I play with 1). I like RUse's idea, but spellstutter is not that big, it's mroe of a support card, so that's a combo you're not pulling often. I'd probably run Broken Ambitions over it. You could also consider dropping 1 Vendilion Clique and the Pestermites for Remove Soul or something along those lines, because heavy aggro WILL be a problem. As for Terror, I'd think about running less copies of it, and running Agony Warp, you get to kill black creatures and you get to make a lot of cooler plays with it. Oh, and please please please lose Reflecting Pool for a full set of Underground River, you need your colors and you need them early. And consider maindecking Thoughtseize, it's a lifesaver!
