I'm sure you've heard the stories about Rudolph and Frosty and even, perhaps, the Christmas Yak (http://www.homestarrunner.com/dethemberween.html). But I bet you've never heard of the most magical tale of all: the story of the Christmas Bug!
Well, I hadn't either...until yesterday, when it visited my wife, giving her lots of unplanned (and undesired) presents. She's been...uh...in the restroom a lot over the last 24 hours. I was planning on working yesterday (and posting some more DCs and such...your tax dollars at work! (https://lotrtcgwiki.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fsupport.proboards.com%2Fpbsskins%2Fv4alt06%2Fimages%2Fsmilies%2Fxmas%2Ftongue.gif&hash=48ac53490e3bc449ab9eb417b37525436f27bcda)), but ended up staying home to take care of her and the baby, who we both REALLY hope doesn't catch it too. She's got enough presents already this year!
Anyway, we were going to go to my parents' house last night (as well as their Christmas Eve service at church), and her father's house this morning and mother's house this afternoon, but those plans are all off. So it's Christmas at home for us this year. In truth, with little Elaina, that might be for the best anyway. Of course, now we have to figure out how to get everyone else their gifts (and get ours from them)....
Jen's doing better now, but still obviously sick. Let's just hope Elaina and I dodge this Christmas "miracle".
Anyone else ever been sick on Christmas...or another holiday, for that matter? Eating too much turkey or candy and bloating yourself on Thanksgiving or Halloween doesn't count! My sister has a fever and I'm getting a typical run of the common cold. My freaking sinuses have been congested for the last past few days. ](*,)

My brother used to get so excited every Christmas morning that he would turn white and puke all over the presents. Happened three or four years in a row. I never did that, though.
That finally stopped about four or five years ago.
Had the flu one time, but it wasn't very bad, and I was almost completely over it by Christmas day.
