Title: Limited/Unlimited in Hunters block?
Post by: ghhhk on January 05, 2009, 04:36:32 PM
Hi all...

Someone asked me about the missing 1 circle in the bottom of Hunters cards.  I'm pretty sure there were never any printed with the 1 circle...right?  Unfortunately the pictures on the Decipher site show the 1 in the circle.

Seems to me back in the day there was an announcement that they would no longer need that symbol as there would not be unlimited editions printed...

I tried to find that article but was unable.

Anyone able to shed some light?

Thanks,

ghhhk

I have never noticed this, or heard about it, and judging from the general lack of response here I can assume no one else has

But I will go check my Hunters cards and see if I notice anything

Hi @ all,

I asked exactly the same question in another LOTR community a few weeks ago.

It seems that no cards from The Hunters, Rise of Saruman and Treachery & Deceit have this collectors info printed on it. Also it is true that all the jpgs on the web based on Decipher are showing this symbol, while scans from real cards don't.

I first assumed only cards from boosters are 1st prints (so far I had never opened a booster of a Hunters Block Edition, only starters), but after opening a display of T&D there also was this symbol missing.

Until today I have not seen any physical cards from this editions with this sign.

It's correct, no cards from the Hunters block have this sign printed on them. This was discussed back on the old Decipher forums.
