Hello - my first post and I need some rulings help that my friend and i can't work out from rulebook or glossary:
1) Are followers attached to companions discarded when a companion dies or do they return to your support area? For that matter are they discarded if the companion is discarded or removed from play (ie returned to hand)?
2) Radagst Tender of Beasts states - minions do not gain strength bonuese from poessions AND Shelob Eater of Light states that she is "Strength +3 for each minion stacked on a gollum possession' - is this a strength bonus from a possession (seeings the strength bonus os coming from Shelob's gametext and indirectly from the possession)?

I can answer the second one, as far as I know, and no, it's not considered a bonus from possession. In order to be one, the bonus would have to come from a possession card directly, from it's game text or being printed on the side of them, like Ranger's Sword. However, EoL bonus comes from HERSELF, it merely counts stuff related to possessions.

The rulebook says when a card leaves play, any cards attached to it go to the discard pile.
Radagast negates possessions the minion is bearing only

Radagast negates possessions the minion is bearing only
That's not strictly true. "Strength bonuses from possessions" is the wording used by Radagast, and this means any possession that adds to that minion's strength (ie. it gives the strength bonus in the game text of the possession), no matter where that possession is, does not add its strength bonus. For example, Wildman's Oath is useless against someone bearing Radagast.
As to the first question, any cards borne by a character get discarded if that character leaves play for any reason.

Thanks - my freind and i had an heated discussion (argument) about the shelob gametext.
He used gandalf bearer of obligation bearing radagaest tender of beasts to negate my strength 42 shelob eater of light (11 orcs on 4 different webs).
I couldn't find anything in the rules and we reached the agreement that any card that keys off a posssession for a strength increase was negated (including skirmish events, etc) making Radagast TOB the new golden card.
