Title: GonDwarf---Needs some help
Post by: GloinTheDark on January 31, 2009, 07:37:00 PM
Been thinking about a deck:

Isildur RB

Faramir, Captain of Gondor
Gimli, Eager Hunter

Aragorn, Defender of Free Peoples x2
Durin III
Elendil
Thrarin x2
Uri
Dain III

Narsil, Blade of the Faithful
Gimli's Battle Axe
Hand axe
Bracers
Gondor Sword x2
Dwarven Axe x2
Ring of Fury
Ring of Retribution

Great Day, Great Hour x4
Baruk Khazad x4
Defend It and Hope x4
Gondor Bowmen x4
Citadel of Minas Tirith x2

This needs a lot of work, but the idea is to use Great Day, Great Hour and maneuver wounding to end up with little to no minions.  There's way too many cards, but it needs some kind of healing to go along with all of the exerting.  That's why I added Citadel of Minas Tirith.  Any help is appreciated.

What is your starting line-up? Because Faramir and Gimli don't work together. Faramir reduces only the twilight cost of other gondormen, not himself. Maybe you mean the T&D one, which can be played in your starting. Maybe consider a Slaked Thirsts Preparation combo, a deck I'm working on.

What kind of idea of this deck want you keep? Gondor Dwarves, Maneuver wounding or both?  ;D

Try to add:
Scroll of Isildur
Argument ready to hand
Legolas, Greenleaf (starting, instead of Faramir)
Farewell to Lorien
...

Sorry, I meant Faramir, Captain of Ithilien.  The Idea was to have maneuver wounding, but it's hard to pass up Gondor Bowmen.
