Title: Merry's Sword

Rohan hand weapon
Game Text: Bearer must be Merry. Maneuver: Exert Merry twice to exert a minion once for each [ROHAN] companion you spot.

You spot 6 Rohan companions.  Does this mean that you may exert one and only one minion up to 6 times OR does it mean you can exert minions (either the same one multiple times or different minions) six times?

When it states "for each", you do the actions separately.
So you can exert 6 minions in this case, or less minions with any combination of exerts you'd like that add up to 6 exerts.
