Awesome, that should really get a killer's temper flaring. At least the person that was Incognito in round 6 can say they were the only one actually fired from the title of assassin . I guess I will give the round a go, but if Incognito is as lame this round as last I will quickly waste my arrests and take a vacation .

So, should I ready my writ of habeas corpus, then? ;)

Well met good sirs, well met.

Should you protect my intended victim, you will receive a clue to my true identity.

Five badges for the Officers whose paths have been paved,
Unknown rings for the dead that could not be saved,
Eight clues for saved victims that officers might save,
One is the assassin and sends them to their grave
In the realm of the Internet where falsities fly.
One assassin to rule them all. One assassin to find them,
One assassin to bring them all and in the Ether bind them
In the realm of the Internet where falsities fly.

Let us begin, the game starts now.

I begin with an easier one:

I am not proficient in typing but still I try with this keyboard of mine. No matter what I type, this is the clue.

You have 2 days.

The officers, standing around, not doing much, startle as the telephone rings.  Officer SoP answers and his face starts to pale as he realizes they were all wrong.  Sirens wailing, they head to the victims apartment.  Inside they find a man with a keyboard on his chest.  The victim's name is qwertySMF.  On his forehead is a simple golden ring like the poem said "Unknown rings for the dead that could not be saved"

O dear, O deary me.
2 wrongful arrests, good for me, bad for you.

You'll have to do much better than that if you want any chance of catching me.

As I sit here eating my fruity snack, I realise who my next victim is: he should be found in Georgia.

You have 2 days.

As I approached the house of my intended victim, I saw that giving the Police the extra day worked against me.  Officer Lurtzy was stationed outside Peachtacular's house, saving him from a gruesome death.

Congratulations Officer, you used the time well.

Very well, in accordance with my own rules, the first clue to my identity is W.

The game continues:
As I watched Peachtacular's house, a speed-limited moving brown UPS truck drove by. My somewhat considerable knowledge in Middle-Earth characters and history presented me with my next victim.

You have 3 days.

What's the deal with Incognito and deadlines, anyway? :P An X-mas killing would've been AWESOME, to show those donut-eating coppers that they should be working instead of kicking back and relaxing during the holidays!
Title: Assassin, the Game: Round 7
Post by: Incognito on December 26, 2008, 06:16:58 AM
Alerted by a strange smell coming from the apartment below, a neighbour calls the police. Detective Lurtzy answers and the 5 officers go to the apartment of CCCORNIV.  They find him in the bathtub, drowned, a strange but familiar odor coming from the water which the officers can't place.

In Roman numerals there is no O, R or N. CCC is 300, IV is 4.
In medieval Roman numerals O is 11, R is 80, N is 90.

A Boxing Day death is close.   I was slack and gave the cops more time (an early Christmas present from me), which they ignored.

Game on.
Whilst visiting Alcatraz (using Google Earth), I looked West and saw someone standing by the pylon.
The victim has been chosen.  I'm doubting the cops will save him.

You have 3 days.

Yeah.
Title: Assassin, the Game: Round 7
Post by: Incognito on December 30, 2008, 05:36:38 AM
My stay on Alcatraz has been worthwhile. Taking my boat, I only have a small journey to the golden Gate bridge. Ask any kid and they'll tell you that Trolls live under bridges. Pretending to be a lost tourist, I approached the officer. After he has given me directions, I offer my hand for a handshake. I pull him off-balance, he trips and knocks his head on the ground. I disarm him as he lies dazed, then drag him to the water and plunge his head under. He gurgles and gasps but soon the struggling stops.
How good it feels, my first cop kill...how wonderful to be back at the ocean.

The game goes on.

My next victim, is an plastic fork.

You have 3 days.

Driving to SoP's house, the theme to SeaQuest DSV came on the radio. I am amused. Approaching the house, my amusement turns to anger as I see a short, skinny officer with a large head and bulbous eyes and the most horrid comb-over, protecting SoP. My 2nd cop kill has been foiled. It seems the ShizKnight is the Shiz.

is an plastic fork = an anagram of sickofpalantirs

The next clue to my identity is R.

The game continues.
The next victim is 37 of 13, or 28 of 13.

Josiah_of_rohan is found by his friends, killed by what appears to be 3 stab wounds.  Upon closer inspection, the 3 wounds are in a straight line.

Oh dear, another one bites the dust.  You wave a flag on Flag Day, and poor Josiah's birthday is Flag Day.

The game continues.

Incorrect, but I see how you could come up with that one.  :gp: for a good try.  The clues I have left will form a clue to my identity, not to my identity itself.  One more saved victim and you should have enough to arrest me.  But only if you save one more, he he ha ha hahaha

Be quiet, you're dead and the dead can't speak.
But you have put up an interesting theory.  Wrong, but interesting.

Upon inspection, perhaps I shouldn't have written 'wear' and should have written 'be associated with' instead.

Well, I DO get the my Miranda rights anyway, don't I? Since anything I say will never hold up in court (let's face it, I've been arrested and walked more times than probably anyone in the world by now, and I'm still counting!) anyway, I might as well say it and stir this up. Not to mention, every time I get arrested I sue the State, you should see the lovely house I'm living in, and the car I'm about to get. :P LOL

FM is found drowned in a bathtub of sea-water on the Brazilian coast.
