[2] •Anduril, Veteran Sword [Gondor]
Artifact • Hand Weapon
Strength: +2
Bearer must be Aragorn. He is damage +1.
While Aragorn is skirmishing more than one minion he is strength +3.
It was a fierce blade reforged.
Keys off of Ranger of the North.
[2] •Glamdring, Goblin Bane [Gandalf]
Possession • Hand Weapon
Stength: +2
Bearer must be Gandalf. He is damage +1.
Each orc skirmishing Gandalf is Strength -1.
Maneuver: Discard a spell to make Gandalf strength +2 until the regroup phase.
"...goblins knew it well...
Focuses on Gandalf as the primary fighter, but he has the option to gain strength at the cost of discarding a spell he may need for the rest of the fellowship. I suppose it kind of simulates him too busy fighting to be able to cast a spell. For Friend of the Shirefolk.
[2] •Gimli's Battle Axe, Cleaver of Foes [Dwarf]
Possession • Hand Weapon
Strength: +2
Bearer must be Gimli. He is Damage +2.
While you can spot Legolas he is Strength +1.
He was as skilled a fighter as any elf.
I guess it kind of works with Gimli, Son of Gloin. When he wins, he kills things. I really wanted to make something that could help reinforce the dwarven damage deck, which this does by the Damage +2. I put in the part about Legolas to reinforce a multi-cultural deck.
[1] •Long Knives of Legolas, Nimble Blades [Elf]
Possession • Hand Weapon
Strength: +2
Bearer must be Legolas.
Each Man and Nazgul skirmishing Legolas is strength -1.
He had more years of training than most men live.
This is kind of a turnaround of the original Long Knives. I thought it might give him a bigger intial bonus with a smaller sub-bonus. Then I made it work against a different two types of minions that are common. You could run a copy of each and use the one that you needed.
[1] •Boromir's Sword, Knightly Blade [Gondor]
Possession • Hand Weapon
Strength: +2
Bearer must be Boromir. He is damage +1.
Each time Boromir wins a skirmish you may heal him.
He was a noble man. A knight of Gondor.
This would go with Boromir, Son of Denethor. He could heal after using his ability for hobbits. Really good with Merry, Friend to Sam.
[1] •Merry's Dagger, Elven Dirk [Elf]
Possession • Hand Weapon
Strength: +2
Bearer must be Merry.
If Merry is not assigned to a skrimish he is strength +2.
It was only a small knife to an elf.
This really only works with Merry, Friend to Sam, but makes for a good combo with Boromir. In Boromir's skirmish you could exert him to make merry +3 strength. Then, Merry with this knife would be strength 10. He would exert twice to make Boromir strength +10 then Boromir could heal if he wins.
[1] •Pippin's Dagger, Elven Knife [Elf]
Possession • Hand Weapon
Strength: +2
Bearer must be Pippin.
Skirmish: Discard this possession to cancel a skirmish involving bearer. The shadow player may remove [2] twilight to prevent this.
A hobbit's feet can aid him in battle more than a sword.
The idea is that Pippin's not that great of a companion. He drops his sword and runs, but it catches the minion off guard.
0 •Frying Pan, Impromptu Weapon [Shire]
Possession • Hand Weapon
Strength: +1.
Bearer must be a hobbit. This weapon may be borne in addition to another hand weapon.
Skirmish: If bearer is Sam, discard this possession to wound each minion he is skirmishing.
I'd rather be using this to battle my hunger.
I don't know. Hobbits dual weilding seems a bit much, so I tried to not make it ridiculous, althogh the lore makes me laugh. I almost put Appetite for Distruction. Doesn't really work with any particular Sam, although maybe Sam, Proper Poet.
[1] •Sting, Bilbo's Old Sword [Shire]
Possession • Hand Weapon
Strength +2
Bearer must be Frodo.
While you can spot 2 Hobbit Ally's, Frodo is strength +2.
Take it. It's yours now.
Doesn't really work with mulit-culture, but it does work with Frodo, Old Bilbo's Heir.
Here are some other cards that I was thinking about, but that don't necessarily work for fellowship block.
[2] •Gwemegil, Arwen's Sword [Elf]
Possession • Hand Weapon
Bearer must be Arwen. She is Damage +1.
At the start of the regroup phase you may heal Arwen.
The blade of an elf is well crafted.
This is to work with Arwen's Dagger, and Asfaloth, Elven Steed.
0 Vicious Attack [Dwarf]
Event • Skirmish
Make a dwarf strength +2 (or strength +4 if that dwarf is damage +3 or more.)
A dwarf's power is in his beard.
Just goofing around on the lore. I wanted a card to go with honed in a dwarven damage deck.
0 •Frodo, Lost in Mordor [Shire]
Companion • Hobbit
Strength: 5
Vitality: 3
Resistance: 10
Ring-Bearer. Ringbound.
They were constantly on the look out.
The idea is that Frodo is probably more alert in Mordor, and by this time probably a better fighter thus the strength bonus. Conversely he has only three vitality to simulate being edgy, tired, and not sleeping and eating well.
I thought about lowering the resistance also, but I'm not really sure. I think if his resistance was lowered he'd probably have to have some gametext. Resistance 8, Each time he wins a skirmish you may remove a threat.

I ever thought merry, friend to sam only gives its BASIC strength to another comapnion...

[2] •Anduril, Veteran Sword [Gondor]
Artifact • Hand Weapon
Strength: +2
Bearer must be Aragorn. He is damage +1.
While Aragorn is skirmishing more than one minion he is strength +3.
It was a fierce blade reforged.
That's pretty cool. For extra awesomeness, how about "Aragorn is strength +3 for each minion he is skirmishing over 1." :hey: Also, this I feel should be its usual [3] cost with +1 vitality.
Do you mean "Discard a spell from hand"? Because there are few condition spells.
I think this could be more interesting. If you really want it to work with Son of Gloin, maybe make it something to do with exertions.
[1] •Long Knives of Legolas, Nimble Blades [Elf]
Possession • Hand Weapon
Strength: +2
Bearer must be Legolas.
Each Man and Nazgul skirmishing Legolas is strength -1.
He had more years of training than most men live.
I think I'd prefer the usual +1/-2. I think this could also be more interesting.
[1] •Boromir's Sword, Knightly Blade [Gondor]
Possession • Hand Weapon
Strength: +2
Bearer must be Boromir. He is damage +1.
Each time Boromir wins a skirmish you may heal him.
He was a noble man. A knight of Gondor.
Yeah, fair enough. Don't you mean the Blade of Gondor?
[1] •Merry's Dagger, Elven Dirk [Elf]
Possession • Hand Weapon
Strength: +2
Bearer must be Merry.
If Merry is not assigned to a skrimish he is strength +2.
It was only a small knife to an elf.
Awesome.
Yeah, fair enough.
You can make a (0) by using round brackets. I would not make a unique version of something which previously was non-unique. Instead, I'd have something like "•Sam's Frying Pan" and make it only bearable by Sam.
[1] •Sting, Bilbo's Old Sword [Shire]
Possession • Hand Weapon
Strength +2
Bearer must be Frodo.
While you can spot 2 Hobbit Ally's, Frodo is strength +2.
Take it. It's yours now.
"Allies"; it's the plural, not the possessive. Not sure about this; it's fair enough, but it could be very powerful, a +4 straight boost on the RB is very good for 1 card.
[2] •Gwemegil, Arwen's Sword [Elf]
Possession • Hand Weapon
Bearer must be Arwen. She is Damage +1.
At the start of the regroup phase you may heal Arwen.
The blade of an elf is well crafted.
Yeah, fair enough. I would lost the damage bonus for its original strength bonus.
0 Vicious Attack [Dwarf]
Event • Skirmish
Make a dwarf strength +2 (or strength +4 if that dwarf is damage +3 or more.)
A dwarf's power is in his beard.
Yeah, fair enough.
0 •Frodo, Lost in Mordor [Shire]
Companion • Hobbit
Strength: 5
Vitality: 3
Resistance: 10
Ring-Bearer. Ringbound.
They were constantly on the look out.
Maybe make his vitality 4 and have something like "Each the fellowship moves, add a burden" to represent how he gets more corrupted the closer he gets to Mordor, or maybe something like "When the fellowship moves from region 1, add 2 burdens. When the fellowship moves from region 2, add 3 burdens."
I ever thought merry, friend to sam only gives its BASIC strength to another comapnion...
That's why he's so awesome! Hobbit Sword, G for Grand... :hey:

Gwemegil is supposed to be stength +2, Frying pan is supposed to be non-unique, and Glamdring is supposed to be discard a spell from hand. Thanks for the (0). I agree about anduril, too.
[2] •Glamdring, Goblin Bane
Possession • Hand Weapon
Stength: +2
Bearer must be Gandalf. He is damage +1.
Each orc skirmishing Gandalf is Strength -1.
Maneuver: Discard a spell from hand to make Gandalf strength +2 until the regroup phase.
...goblins knew it well...
(0) Frying Pan, Impromptu Weapon
Possession • Hand Weapon
Strength: +1.
Bearer must be a hobbit. This weapon may be borne in addition to another hand weapon.
Skirmish: If bearer is Sam, discard this possession to wound each minion he is skirmishing.
I'd rather be using this to battle my hunger.
[2] •Gwemegil, Arwen's Sword
Possession • Hand Weapon
Strength: +2
Bearer must be Arwen. She is Damage +1.
At the start of the regroup phase you may heal Arwen.
The blade of an elf is well crafted.
[3] •Anduril, Veteran Sword
Artifact • Hand Weapon
Strength: +2
Vitality: +1
Bearer must be Aragorn. He is damage +1.
While Aragorn is skirmishing more than one minion he is strength +3.
It was a fierce blade reforged.

[
[2] •Gimli's Battle Axe, Cleaver of Foes [Dwarf]
Possession • Hand Weapon
Strength: +2
Bearer must be Gimli. He is Damage +2.
While you can spot Legolas he is Strength +1.
He was as skilled a fighter as any elf.
Another idea would be to lose the damage bonus and add something like, "Each time Gimli exerts he is damage +1until the regroup phase," so it could better key off of Gimli son of Gloin.
-
I like it:
[2] •Gimli's Battle Axe, Cleaver of Foes [Dwarf]
Possession • Hand Weapon
Strength: +2
Bearer must be Gimli. He is Damage +1.
Each time Gimli exerts you may make him Damage +1 until the regroup phase.
He was as skilled a fighter as any elf.
-
gimli's battle axe is kewl.
Maneuver: Discard a spell from hand to make Gandalf strength +2 until the regroup phase.
...goblins knew it well...
cool. mispelled strength though,
(0) Frying Pan, Impromptu Weapon
Possession • Hand Weapon
Strength: +1.
Bearer must be a hobbit. This weapon may be borne in addition to another hand weapon.
Skirmish: If bearer is Sam, discard this possession to wound each minion he is skirmishing.
I'd rather be using this to battle my hunger.
to one other hand weapon, right?
[2] •Gwemegil, Arwen's Sword
Possession • Hand Weapon
Strength: +2
Bearer must be Arwen. She is Damage +1.
At the start of the regroup phase you may heal Arwen.
The blade of an elf is well crafted.
I don't like the damage bonus. doesn't seem to fit with elves. healing seems kinda meh, maybe you can heal the ringbearer? or while skirmishing a nazgul she is damage +1?
[3] •Anduril, Veteran Sword
Artifact • Hand Weapon
Strength: +2
Vitality: +1
Bearer must be Aragorn. He is damage +1.
While Aragorn is skirmishing more than one minion he is strength +3.
It was a fierce blade reforged.
lore should be italicized ;) maybe just Anduril, Reforged ?
