Hi!
I have only been collecting (and playing as time allows) since the end of November and throughout it has been an absolute joy trading with the wonderful people on this board. Also, in my opinion players and collectors of this game are pretty well organised on the web. I have a much harder time locating players and collectors of the ST:CCG.
Yet there are the same challenges of collecting as with any other ccg or tcg. And since I try to collect the foil sets of sets 1-10 before I go on to the regular sets, I find that some foil version have not surfaced yet. Nobody seems to have, for example, a Saruman, Rabble-Rouser (foil) for trade. Funnily enough, foil versions of the rings appear more often on ebay than the foil versions of less prestigious cards.
I have come a long way in a very short time. I am down to my last couple of cards to complete the FotR set and the RotK is nearing completion as well. But the TTT and BoHD sets are pretty hard to come by. Maybe I SHOULD start buying sealed product of those sets, whenever I come across it.
Then again these struggles add to the excitement. It should not be too easy to complete the sets. However, it would be kind of comforting to know that there ARE foil versions of particular cards in existence ;-)
Anyway, so far it has been a very cool experience and I must say that the LOTR foils looks MUCH better than the Star Trek foils.
Cheers!

Thank you for the link. Somehow, this site had escaped me until now.
