Title: Friday the 13th
Post by: Fatty_Lumpkin on February 13, 2009, 04:25:50 PM
Hey everyone, I just saw the new Friday the  13th movie and I was very disappointed. It wasn't scary and the death scenes weren't creative. There was blood but not as much nor as gory as I thought it would be. I don't recommend spending all that money to see it, wait until it comes out on dvd.  >:(

It also felt too rushed, liked they tried cramming too much within a measley hour and a half.

Did you expect it to be good?

I had hopes for it, I mean the remake of Halloween was actually good, I figured this one would be decent. But after doing some research i found the director of this made Freddy vs. Jason, an absolute disaster of a movie. I should've done some research before i went to see it.  :-[

Oh well, i'm gonna see Taken tomorrow with some friends, hopefully that'll be good, i've always liked Liam Neeson as an actor.  \:D/

Liam rules. I've heard good things about Taken.

Anyways, remakes are generally worse than the originals. Especially when it comes to horror/slasher type films.
