Title: Sauron Orcs Roaming Question
Post by: GloinTheDark on February 17, 2009, 10:06:13 AM
I know this has been asked before, but I couldn't find the topic.

When you play a [sauron] orc to site 3 that makes the roaming penalty of all [sauron] orcs -3, do all [sauron] orcs that stop roaming at site 6 no longer pay a roaming penalty?

I think you should be refering to the orcs that make the site number of other -3. In that case they are not roaming when you play them cause 6-3=3. If you have some card that makes the roaming penality -2 you just don't have to pay +2 for each minion, although they are still roaming (for some card efects).

Sorry, yeah.  I meant site number.  Thanks for answering.  I didn't know if that was just for the purpose of the mechanic or if there was a timing thing like, the orcs aren't site -whatever until they are in play.

Well, if you play Orc Cutthroat as the first minion at site 3, you have to pay its roaming penalty because its ability is not yet in play. After that, any other Orcs you play are not roaming (unless some other card increases their site number).
