Title: GCCG annoying one
Post by: Pepin The Breve on February 22, 2009, 07:03:11 AM: Well, i just enter GCCG today and there is a guy/girl who sing in just to ruin other players game. He/she enters the game and flood the log board, making the play almost impossible. He (assuming that is he) said is would be banned from gccg by one of the admin and decided to quit the game.

How can we avoid this annoyness?

User LLawliet is suspected of abusing multiple accounts. I saw him iniating games with user Man (who goes mute) only to declare immediate win, which is always accepted by his opponent. I saw him perfom it like 6 times in a row, so I assumed he is using second account to gain $. Admin decision is expected.

And somehow kakaliet won 11 games without even losing one. Very strange all that.....

Logs are monitored to expose cheaters if any of this happens again.

Post by: Celebrimbor on March 12, 2009, 02:27:25 PM: I logged into GCCG today, to be greeted by a "all logs are monitored and cheaters removed" message. Are there any security measures to prevent future cheating? It's not fun when cheating gets introduced into a world of fair play.

Post by: Ringbearer on March 12, 2009, 05:45:47 PM: PEople are watching the logs mostly for people playing against themselves to boost cash and win ratio. It doesnt check for game cheating (intentional or not), thats for the players self to see.
