Title: Anarion/Ninja Gollum (RL Deck)
Post by: SomeRandomDude on May 24, 2008, 10:34:55 AM
Isildur, Bearer of Heirlooms
The One Ring, The Ring of Rings

Anarion, Lord of Anorien
Gondorian Prowler

Aragorn, Heir to the White City (Prancing Pony Nab)

Pallando, Far Travelling One

Anduril, King's Blade
Narsil, Blade of the Faithful x 2
Sapling of the White Tree x 3

I Will Go x 3
The Saga of Elendil x 3
No Stranger to the Shadows x 2
Spirit of the White Tree

Ranger's Cloak x 2
Armor of the Citadel x 2

War and Valor
Swordarm of the White Tower x 2 (+2 = 4)
Rally the Company x 2
Sentinels of Numenor x 4
Pledge of Loyalty x 4

Elendil's Valor x 2 (-2 = 0)

Gollum, Stinker x 2
Gollum, Mad Thing
Shelob, Her Ladyship x 3

Web x 2

Promise Keeping x 3
Fat One Wants It x 2
They Stole It x 3
Hidden Even From Her x 2
Incited x 2
Final Strike
Heavy Burden
Treacherous Little Toad x 2 (-2 = 0)
Not This Time x 0 (+2 = 2)

Captured By The Ring x 4
You're A Liar and a Thief x 4
Frenzied Attack x 3
A Dark Shape Sprang x 1

The notation, like, -2 = 2 means the number I want to cut/add and then the number that will be there after I do so.

Strategy on the Freeps, load Anarion up with vitality and defender, throw a few minions on him, play a couple events to make them all strength 0. Fun stuff, and actually succeedes in its mission quite frequently. Narsil can either pump vitality or pump Isildur's strength to a potential +6.

Shadow- I call it Ninja corrupt. Basically, as many burdens as possible rain down, and then, bwahah. Frenzied Attack. I cannot tell you how many times I've gon Frenzied Attack to kill, PK to exert a 3 vit comp twice, YALAAT to kill the second comp. Oh great, he's fierce.

Anyways, tell me what you think, and what you think about my additions as well.

Led Astray could work great here. Keep cycling among Courtyard Parapet, Neekerbreekers' Bog, and Slag Mounds for utter chaos.

I think Threatening Guide is also worth using. That way even if a companion is killed and the threats are triggered, there'll still be a threat available to discard for Heavy Burden.

But...if I was using Stinker vs Threatening Guide, threats would trigger anyways, and then I'd still get my burden, only without having to use Heavy Burden. :D

Oohhhh...Neekerbreekers, I forgot about that card. I'm sticking it in my adventure deck.

Ah, that's what I get for trying to be clever. For burdens Stinker is more direct. Still, Threatening Guide is great for the wounding angle, especially when you add in Not This Time! ...And he can combo with Heavy Burden. ;)
