Title: Maximum Site Number?

My friend and I still play this wonderful game even after all these years. However, we changed up our decks/strats and are both trying something new.

I have decided to go the route of Gonder rangers causing his minions to become roaming and consequently beating them with buff cards or discarding them.

However, I have a question about a rule I can't seem to find any information about on the web...

I have just moved to site 9. He has played his Sauron orcs... I then transfer the card Condition: Third Levelhttp://lotrtcgdb.com/pages/LOTR07125.html to his Orc. Is it roaming since it's site is now 10, or since no such site exists is it not?

I would say that there is no rule saying the number cant be more than 10 just cos there are only 9 sites so i would say yes he is roaming. His site number is 10 and youre at 9 so yes. That is also how i would play it as its common sense but i certainly couldnt shout down someone suggesting no minion should be roaming at site 9 cos its impossible to be at a higher site.

Tough one.

Post by: macheteman on March 03, 2009, 06:21:56 AM: i'm guessing minions can be roaming at site 9 if you use cards like the faramir ring-bearer. he makes them roaming without using site numbers. but yeah, it'd be nice to have a clear ruling on this.

Did he give a reason? It would be a pretty big deal if minions can't be roaming at site 9.

Post by: Lord_Burke81 on March 10, 2009, 09:05:13 PM: As far as I remember there is no site cap. Thus you can up the site number as much as you want. I havent had to answer a rules question in like 5 years, so you do a little more research. :)
