Arwen, Queen of Elves and Men
Cirdan, The Shipwright
Sword of the Fallen x3
Blades Drawn x4
Elven Bow x4
I have been using these together for the basis of my elven fighting deck and it works pretty well (with cirdan), can anyone suggest some good events to use wih this?
maybe something to get the Blades Drawn back? or something good for Cirdan?

I have just realized this should probably be in Bag End

Feathered is exactly what I was looking for.

let fly? very special that card, more like an sideboard card..not an actual ever-use one I think
-
:o
Let Fly is awesome. I have never built an archery deck with fewer than two copies of this amazing event! (exept rainbowwounding).
-
but it becomes completely useless if there is only one race on the table.
-
I dont rate Let Fly. Its expensive and gives the choice to your opponent.

no TJ, thats wrong.
you as freepeople player spot the shadow race, not your opponent. so if you play i.e. against morcs and their are 5 orcs, 4 nazghul and sauron on the table you may spot the orc race to make the shadow player discard all minions except the orcs. ;)
i think what you did is that you mixed it up with Argument Ready to Hand.
:edit: but it's way to expensive for sure, so i wouldn't play it too.
-
it doesn't discard, it wounds, but yeah, i see what you mean. the wording is very strange on it. free-peoples player chooses the race, and chooses any shadow player to wound each of his minions. it only makes one shadow player wound their minions. kinda sucky in a multi-player game.
-
actually, it probably works better multi-player because there's a much higher chance of having multiple shadow races on the table.
-
Exactly mono race minion decks make it useless

oh, gotcha, i see how it works. you can spot orc, and make the player playing trolls have to take the wounds.

4x Nocked would maybe also work well with 4x The Tale Of Gil-galad, Vilya, Ring of Air, Aiglos and
Gil-galad, Elven High King for an 11 strength, 10 wound elf :)
Can anyone suggest some ways to improve this Gil-galad EHK ?
-
the tale of gil-galad is unique.
-
woops, ok then let's say a 7 wound elf #-o

Alliance Reforged is another potential event, digging into your deck and hopefully powering up Cirdan faster.

@The Jord, @King89:
expensive? guys, common! #-o
Play against a troll swarm deck - you spot one orc but perhaps you have to face 10 trolls! --> 4 pool for let fly is not very much if you kill each troll and only have to fight against troll keyward!
expensive
-
@Olorin:
to my mind you need more then 1 let fly + some elf archers to kill trolls with a vitality of 3 oder 4, don't you?! ;)
-
then you have still a few archers in your company and maybe a few elven conditions with archery +2... I would say let fly could be a very strong card... or if you play Nazgul with Morcs! or Hunter Uruk with Hunter Orcs (Grishnakh and Ugluk)...
I mentioned this troll swarm example because I already played it against let fly... and it was awful...
