My favourite most consistent deck.  Initiative is regularly lost and gained for major benefits.  Only real negative is that holding Pippin in your hand limits how effective your shadow can be, hence Rapid Reload based shadow as this still can be quite effective with only 1 minion in hand.

Can be tricky to know when to keep One Good Turn Deserves Another and when to ditch.  This is not a deck for amateurs, even though it is not rocket science, there are many tricky decisions to make for it to work well.  Especially when to use Shadowplay, when to double, when to play no minions to help clog opponents hand for easier doubling etc.

Bid 1, go first start Prancing Pony, pull Aragorn Thorongil.

Sweet! I remember this deck. Quite painfully. IIRC, the only deck to ever fell it was the Horn/Frenzy deck when it was legal. ahahaha. Anyways, yeah, I built a deck like this IRL after you bashed my face in with it. It rocks.

How do you handle wound preventing Shadows?

Like Invincible Uruk? Good point. I pack an emergency roaming package in mine. IB + Gondorian Merchant, 1 of each.

Invincible Uruk, Wouding [Orc] on Wargs with Riders Gear etc. I play with Eomer and his Spear to wound during skirmish and use Merry, Swordthain.

Faramir + Pip handles that easily. The only problem I see is Invincible Uruk

How do you handdle shadow wizards? Wounding will not hurt them...

He's got condition discarding.

Invincible uruk could cause some dramas, but can be overwhelmed repeating glimpse of fate.  1 Namarie is enough, not a lot of shadows pack many conditions, and the ones that do usually want forests or underground which Smeagol stops pretty well.  The best way to handle shadow wizards is to laugh at them, they are useless.

Good point there. But, hey, there are people here that will run any crazy deck. They play bizzaro, not to win.

Ever thought of Gandalf, Powerful Guide? With your two hobbits? Then you could also run Brooding on Tomorrow.

Then it needs more Conditiondiscarding, just like Gil said.

Also interesting to know is how you'll handdle an opponent who plays assigncontrol?
