Freaky. Could be doctored, I suppose, but....

I dont buy it, looks good, but for a start i dont believe in ghosts so itll take a lot convince me i suppose!
-
See, I'm conflicted on the subject. Not sure what to think, partly because of an experience when I was younger. I'm not saying I saw a ghost, but I saw...SOMETHING I can't explain. I woke up in the middle of the night, freezing and yet sweating, and saw some blurry shape rush from my bedside towards the closet on the other side of the room and just kind of vanish. Might have been my eyes playing tricks on me, especially coming suddenly out of a dead sleep, but I don't know. I know I saw something, I just don't know what. Doesn't help that I wear glasses (and obviously didn't have them on when I first woke up), so who knows how blurry the whatever-it-was actually was. If it was anything at all!
If that picture IS a fake (which it more than likely is), it's a darned good one. That "hand" on the rail just freaks me out.

Hahahahahahaha.....
Sorry. Don't buy it at all.
Look at this part:

See the repeated edge? That's one of the effects that you can get when you use a blur tool at the wrong settings, or try to go too fast with it.
It's not hard to make something like this. Just take a photo that has some reflection from the camera lens or something else, then blur it a touch into the right basic shape. And as for the hand, you just lighten a few lines along the banister. I'll make one of those myself and post it when I finish.
Anyone remember the Sherwood forest photo I had with the skull? Not that hard. And that one was barely doctored. All it takes is a photo that already has the basic shape.
EDIT: Here we go. The only significant change in here is the back of the skull, which I airbrushed green just to make it easy to see, and wasn't trying to keep it from being obvious. Other than that, no real change... except the eyes, jaw, face...

EDIT AGAIN: And I just noticed... the hand is too detailed for that photo quality. The finger's aren't blurry enough. compare them to the rest of the photo. If those were fingers, they should be blurred to the point of unrecognizability. They'd be too small to be that clear.

Ya thats a load of crap. "examined by experts". Who has ever heard of an expert ghost picture examiner?
-
I don't believe in ghosts as undead spirits of people with unfinished business, but I definitely could believe in them as physical manifestations of spiritual beings. Like angels and demons (particularly demons).
Of course, doctored photos are always a possibility as well.
-
The more and more I look at it and think about it, I think it's doctored. But all the same, certainly gets your attention for a second, doesn't it?
-
I ditto NB. I believe that there are, occasionally, incidents with physical (or visible, anyway) manifestations of spirits.
But more often, we have things like doctored photos, and that bug that landed on the gas station security camera about a month ago. Now THAT one had me going for a few minutes....

This is an article from the Sun newspaper. Which, to you Americans, is kind of like the National Enquirer, with a naked woman on page 3.
Think about it.

The National Enquirer is my only source of news. :P

I don't get what you are trying to say...

Credibility is an issue with The Sun. Have you never seen a National Enquirer!? BS stories galore.

What? It is all true!

Heck yeah! The pics of mermaids swimming around Atlantis, Moses coming back, the world ending yesterday, how dare you dispute it.

I really didn't buy that story at all. I didn't see anything particularly convincing with the picture, that could easily be done with photomanipulation. It made me laugh at this quote...
"I just don’t see what else it could be - it’s a digital camera so you can’t accidentally double expose the shot and Connor swears there was no one around at the time."
Somebody is not familiar with modern image-manipulation techniques.
