I just figured this out. Dark Fell about Him + Lingering Shadow. 4 to 5 burdens instantly! :o
-
dude...that was the basis of the mm auto-corrupt article...know your CC history ;)
-
I've got a whole real life deck centered around that combo.
-
and if you've got an Ulaire Enquea, Duplicitous Lieutenant out things get ugly

to my mind, this doesn't work, cause enquea says each time the free peoples player heals a companion. Dark Fell about Him makes you as the shadow player abuses healing for adding burdens. ;)
try site path control with Mithlond. that makes this combo nasty my friend.

but very hard to pull off. I have a deck that works with Forced March, hard to do, but great to do. But as always these decks make me loose. I somehow always play fundecks and others don't....shame on me.

not that hard GE. bid enough burdens to get sure that you start. grab One good Turn deserves another and play Mithlond as the net site. then take Ulaire Nelya, TotNR to get Mithlod back in your advanture deck. repeat this until your oppenent is corrupted. very nice with Saruman, SoS + Isengard Ruined as well. :hey:
but i know that you'll get a big problem against heavy conditon discard and good site path control as well!

@SOP. I wasn't on CC. I wasn't old enough. @ML. Can we see a deck list?
-
it was in expanded, with gates of the dead city. With an almost entire fellowship eaxhausted each burden creates 4 exertions and so on and so forth.
MM wrote an article, here it is: http://lotrtcgdb.com/community/viewtopic.php?t=3552

I bought my deck from mm, so it's the same one in that article.

Oh strange, the gollum one says make the free peoples player heal a companion

i love this combo. so much fun when your opponent sits there figuring out exertions and burdens, and it suddenly dawns on him that you just pulled a completely legal infinite loop. so much fun.
-
some conditiondiscard and burden remove and you're done ;)
but still a nice combo, that's true.

absolutely, its easy to stop, which is what makes it not "broken" like an Open format loop.
the burden removal though can't stop it at all. there can be 0 burdens and you can pull the loop. condition discard is rough though. and the ones that stop you from adding burdens with texts like: "if the shadow player plays a card that is about to add any number of burdens, exert this hobbit to prevent that."
stuff like that gets annoying.
but yes, a fun deck, and a fairly competitive deck.
