Title: Ninja Gollum (shadow only)
Post by: legolas3333 on April 18, 2009, 06:19:32 AM
34 cards

2x Fat One Wants It
2x Incited
3x Promise Keeping
2x Deceit
2x Not This Time
2x Treacherous Little Toad
1x They Stole It
4x Captured by the Ring
1x Horribly Strong
1x Little Snuffler
1x Sting of Shelob
1x Unseen Foe
2x Gollum, Dark as Darkness
1x Gollum, Hopeless
1x Gollum, Threatening Guide
1x Shelob, Eater of Light
2x Shelob Her Ladyship
1x Shelob, Menace
2x Mumak Commander, Giant Among the Swertings
2x Web

This is more threat based than most Ninja Gollum decks but without plotting, it has Fat one wants it and Captured by the ring 2 threats each time you play gollum and shelob menace is a nice compliment

Why did you drop a Promise keeping?????? That's one of the main cards in Ninja Gollum...

I'm not sure of the 4x Treacherous Little Toad.... You'll kill them anyway...
Also not sure about 2x 2x Little Snuffler...
Maybe a Promise keeping and some wounding minions
And to my opinion one Horribly Strong and one Unseen Foe will be sufficient. Actually you want to wound during the skirmishphase with Promise keeping around... And You want some extra minions... Preferable minions who can exert or wound in the manouver or archery... so you can finnish it during the skirmish.... Or Some big Orcs Like emobolded Orc and •Gorbag, Filthy Rebel (to screw up opponents deck)..... Or Gorhmog Morgul Leader.... just 2 webs... Can be, but I would use 3 or 4.

But what would you think of this:

4x 19P19Reaching Tentacle
4x 19P20Strong Tentacle
3x 19P21•Watcher in the Water, Many-Tentacled Creature
4x 2C58Foul Tentacle
4x 2R66Huge Tentacle
1x 2R73•Watcher in the Water, Keeper of Westgate
4x 5U22Evil-smelling Fens
4x 9R+28•Gollum, Dark as Darkness
1x 6R77•Durin's Tower
4x 2C55Dark Places

I know not Ninja Gollum... but it actually works brilliantly.. Very fast and if you play a fellowship with 19P11•Smeagol, Pitiable Guide It's becomming more stable because you'll be able to reshuffle Gollum and Evil-smelling Fens. Gollum is in it to exert rb plus if possible to create extra pool by removing burdens. Also in combo with Evil-smelling Fens you'll be able to play an extra minion. Okay in the end gollum get's discarded when the Watcher comes into play, but then he allready had his use.

I know, but it would in Austrian format ;)

And standard is not allways that big fun. The only thing you don't want to combine are the regular set's from Movieblock and post mount doom. The extra set's are no problem to combine. But hust try.. it's fun!

They Stole It is not standard.

I like ninja gollum, but my favorite variant would have to be ninja corruption in expanded via Stinker and Mad Thing and some Frenzied Attack, bwahaha.

Shelob, Menace always felt like a "win more" card; I might just stick with Her Ladyship exclusively. Ulaire Cantea, FTW and Ulaire Lemenya, ET can both add threats without jumping through so many hoops, if it comes to that.

Regardless I'd suggest adding Not Easily Avoided. It's the gift that keeps on giving! Get the spider to win for more fun with Promise Keeping.
