Title: TLHH Chat
Post by: Olorin on April 28, 2009, 04:09:19 AM
I don't know if it would be possible, but what would you think about to introduce a chat room here at the board?

You probably guessed I would say this, but...
We already have a chat room!
The GCCG lobby. ;)

Yeah, Kralik, but there are some of us who aren't allowed to download GCCG.

Yeah, Kralik, but there are some of us who aren't allowed to download GCCG.

Run it off of a flash drive.

Wait, you can run it on a flash drive? You mean the thing you can plug in and unplug at anytime?

Yes and yes. It takes one extra step (creating a single folder) but it's not all that difficult.

It's a small USB storage drive for a computer... does that help? :P

Thank you for your quick explanation  :gp:! Well, I would like to see a kind of chatterbox - box. As soon as I have time to check things with all these TCards computer scrpits, I will be ready to communicate with them.

Whoa, it currently says Kralik is in chat. New feature? :hey:

Edit: It won't let me enter though... says "You can't access the chat."

Way to spill the beans early!
But I'd better check and make sure I can chat with someone besides myself... hmmm... :-k

I'm not sure why some users are having trouble there... everything works for me. If you could give me more details such as what language you are using, what theme, and what web browser, I may be able to help.

Hmm, I was sure there wasn't a message when I left the chat, but noticed later what seems to be a delayed time-out message (which came after some new messages--sorry GT!). Does this happen if you close the chat window instead of logging out properly?

Yes, I think you need to click log out and then close the window.
