Hi guys,
I wanted to know from you, who is the most common companion used in play next to Frodo?
I would say: Aragorn
Aragorn Thorongil is used in nearly each deck (Gondor, Gandalf, Elves)
Aragorn DoR is used in Rohan decks
behind Aragorn it might be Gandalf... what do you think?
...and what do you think is the most useful companion around and WHY?

Greenleaf. Need I explain why?

QFT Also, Aragorn Heir to the White City. Lovely.
And I hate the hunters keyword, so I don't use Thorongil or anything past Bloodlines for that matter.

Air five!

I liked Hunter, actually, mostly because I have it and they don't.
No, but seriously, I liked The Hunters, but RoS and T&D were just stupid.
-
The funniest thing is when people talk about their love of Hunters block, esp. ROS and T&D and then complain about how broken the fellowship stuff like greenleaf is... Please people. We've dealt with him since the first set, ROS is all new and not broken? Right....

Gandalf seems to get used a lot. At least I tend to, Gandalf LotC is awesome. :uh-huh:
-
Gandalf's play a bunch of different roles. Perhaps the most splashed Gandy I've seen is Leader of Men- he seems to make his way into a lot of starting fellowships and pairs nicely with Saved From The Fire for a fast setup.
-
Sam, SOH..and he really is a common!
-
And he really is banned? :P
-
I see gandalf thrown around a lot, maybe because it's near impossible to make a solo gandalf
-
I did a Gandalf/Frodo choke once. That was fun.
-
For general usefulness I'd pick Eowyn LoI or Greenleaf.
-
I see thorongil and Gil-Galad alot, although I usually play hunter's block.
-

Not in block and not in open ;)
