Title: Rarity of Treachery and Deceit compared to Rise of Saruman?
Post by: Lord_Burke81 on May 13, 2009, 02:16:58 PM
Hey folks,

I was wondering what the rarity was when compared to each other - is Rise of Saruman rarer, or is Treachery and Deceit, how does T&D compare to Hunters?

I have a friend that has some unopened boxes and am trying to figure out a fair price, but I dont have any clue.

thanks

RoS is easily the rarest. T&D and The Hunters have both been on Ebay recently so are less rare but fetch daft amounts like $200 for Hunters and $125 for T&D. If your friend has scruples I would list each for $100+ but not upto $200, as I have NEVER bought a box of Hunters that didnt cost me more than $80, and I'm talking in the last 6 months.

thanks for the input!
Really, I wasnt thinking about selling the unopened booster boxes - I was thinking of what a fair price to offer would be per box of the T&D to him.  How about the rares from T&D anything go for insane amounts like some of the RoS stuff?

thanks

Excluding foils, these are the top T&D cards (people may disagree with me... ignore them :P )

Gil-Galad, High King of the Noldor
Galadriel's Silver Ewer
Scouring of the Shire
Radagast's Herb Bag
Gothmog, Morgul Leader
Beorning Axe
