Hi guys...
please help me with the following situation:
I spot an unbound hobbit and that Boromir here from Age's End. --> •Boromir, Destined Guide
Well now, imagine, Boromir is defender +1 and skirmishing e.g. against 2 minions. So, in Boromir's fight, I kill one minion (direct damage) - did Boromir then have win a skirmish and may I discard the other minion in skirmish by exerting an unbound hobbit before resolving the skirmish, etc.?
Many thanks in advance!

I think not....he didn't win the skirmish, he only 'reduced' the opponents strength. But that is just me.

You can only do that if Boromir beats the remaining minion on strength. A companion wins a skirmish if his strength is higher than the total strength of minions, or if all minions in the skirmish cease to be there.

I wanted to refer to the fact, that if one side has been removed a skirmish is won... etc. I guess, you know, which part I mean... ???

entirely removed from the skirmish - eg, all minions

thanks HawkeyeSPF... hmm... so there is no way to "abuse" that Boromir? ...thought, I had found a very nice game-mechanic... :(

You could recreate the scene with Lurtz... kidding.
I guess you could add lots of pumps and maybe some defender bonuses... he doesn't seem that great to me though.

There are few decent freeps cards in age's end. aragorn, gandalf, and arwen are about it. The others are too specific and weak as compared to cards from hunters and TD
