Are we allowed to post graphical DCs, or no?
-
I say yes ;)
-
As co-administrator, I say...go for it. ;) By the time who might have a problem with it notices, the new (old) forums will be (re-) opened and graphical cards will have slipped far into the background anyway. :P
-
I'm not so sure I want to have my neck on the line... let me think about it. :-\
-
Well I defer to Mr. Kralik. We'll talk about it and come to a consensus.
-
Alrighty.
I've got about a bajillion of the things, most of which are either broken beyond belief or filled with typos. Either way, though, I never have time to make new ones anymore, so if Kralik's not comfortable with it, I'm not complaining.

I honestly love the idea of graphical dream cards, but I wouldn't want this site to be shut down if 1) Decipher found out about it and 2) actually cared. There is an awesome DC creator for WoW TCG (http://wowtcgdb.com/creator.aspx). Wouldn't that be fun to program! ;D But anyway, if it could be done without fear of legal retribution, being able to create graphical DC's would be great, because you could make your owns sets (as many of you have) and actually play with them using Lackey. 8)

Well I've always loved this idea, but I agree with Kralik. And as a programmer myself, I'd love to program something like a DC creator for LOTR. Maybe one day I can join Kralik and do something wicked like this! :D
But there's something really nice on a SW site. If any of you guys are interested, take a look:
http://swccg.polarhaven.net/
Run a search and click on a card to see how it is displayed. It displays the card exactly like the real ones, but without the picture.
Maybe we could do something like this for DC's :D
-
That is pretty cool... reminds me somewhat of how Zorbec's Decklist Builder displays LoTR cards.
-
Yeah, but this one is a lot cooler, huh? :D
-
Very nice. :) It allows them to use actual text to cross-link cards... I wonder if the same could be done for LotR, but with pictures? Of course, SWCCG references many cards by name, and LotR does not.
