Just wondering what you do for compainions with a signet when you are playing expanded and cards are about resistance. (ex Radagast the brown. What is his resistance?)
-
From the CRD:
Companions preceding the Shadows expansion set (other than versions of Frodo or Sam) do not
have their resistance printed on the card. These companions have a resistance of 6.
Allies have a resistance of zero.
-
I didn't know allies have a resistance of 0... then again, there is no card, to mu knowledge, that effects allies resistence.
-
Lots of cards work off the lack of ally resistance, like Overpowering Uruk, don't know of many cards that would raise an allies resistance, but the shadow player can gain from it when they skirmish.
-
But in standard allies will not participate in skirmishes. They have no homesite in standard.
-
That is true , guess it only matters for cards like squad of harradrim.

say, what? How can an ally not have a home site?

What Gil-Estel is saying is, that in standard, every homesite of an ally is not on the site path.
In other words, every Ally's home site is either on the FOTR block site path, or the TTT site path (or possibly ROTK site path).
-
No Allies have home on ROTK sites either.
-
ROTJ? Check a random Ally. The text says: ally, home 1. (for example). That means that at site 1 fellowship block, the ally can participate in archery and skirmish phases. But with the newest sites, well post Mount Doom and thus post RotK block, have no block mark/sign whatever and therefore no allies have homesites in Standard....
