This is my current soldier build. I DON'T need to hear that Kithkin are better, just critique my deck.
Plains x22
Emeria, the Sky Ruin
Elite Vanguard x4
Veteran Armorsmith x4
Captain Of The Watch x2
Kazandu Blademaster x4
Knight of the White Orchid x4
Kor Aeronaut x4
Honor Of The Pure x4
Harm's Way x3
Path To Exile x4
Conqueror's Pledge x2
Ajani Goldmane x2
That's it. Didn't want to post a sideboard but I tell you it's just a bunch of obvious stuff (Forge Tenders, Ethersworn Canonist as an example).
I made this deck while watching 300, so you can say there was inspiration ;)
I know it's a little too light on Planeswalkers, but I just couldn't afford Elspeths...
On card choices:
Emeria just let's me put a dead guy back into play. Pretty nice.
The Vanguard is a pretty obvious choice, as it is the Armorsmith, the Captain and the other Captain, so I'm gonna skip those.
Reveillark gives me back my Armorsmith AND my Wardens or Vanguards, which is very useful.
Honor of the Pure (so 300), is also a pretty obvious choice.
Spectral Procession combos with Windbrisk Heights and Soul Warden, besides being a nice addition for an aggro deck.
Harm's Way is great against burn decks and also can be used as a nice combat trick (one of the best spells for White in M10).
Path to Exile just exiles some dudes. Pretty handy.
Preferred Ajani instead of Elspeth because of his first abilities. Found them better.
So, as I said before, that's it. Critiques welcome :)

Heh, the first thing I was gonna say WAS, in fact, that although Soldiers might make a comeback soon, as long as kithkin is around I'd stick with that. :D Well, that being said, it's actually hard to critique the deck, as I'd wait for a new set to build it, so some stuff might come around, but let me give it a try.
Yes, 1 maindeck Elspeth IS nice, but you can try to get by without it, however, you DIRELY need a 3rd Ajani Goldmane. I'd also consider another Reveillark, and Knight of Meadowgrain and/or White Orchid (the first is all-around great, the second speeds up your game, and they're both decent creatures, although not soldiers, I know). You could also consider White Knight if you consider the previous, but I think so far they're the better choice. Other than that, I don't like Harm's Way outside of Limited play, at most I'd consider it, in a given meta, as a sideboard card.

Ok, thanks a lot. But as I never thought about the knight of meadowgrain or the white orchid, how many of each do you think should I add? And what to take out for them?

Updated with Zendikar. Not so sure about the mana base though. 24 would be the optimal, I think.
