Why not? Play and control a site! That is awesome. And with Hides you can save him from being killed. He is awesome, trust me!

Agreed, he is a 4X must have for Dunland site control decks.  Auto site control is so sweet, and he's easy to keep from being killed.

He combos nicely with the whole Dunlend culture....Once you have 2 sites controlled Dunland is in general able to wreck almost every fellowship.

Freca is indeed a very handy minion for site control.

I missed almost all of the dundland cards from sets 4-6.  I was too worried in trying to collect sets 1-3

I miss Dunland after Freca came out; 4 Hides + 4 Freca + 4 sites = sadface'd opponent

Question about the game text. It says: "When Freca is killed, the Free Peoples player may liberate a site."
At the end of the fellowship turn, when Freca is discarded. Is he considered killed?

Also, if you can spot two [Dunland] Men, when Playing Freca, can you take control of two sites?

Kind regards

A site can only be liberated only when Freca is killed. Reduce his vitality to 0 or overwhelm him, you can liberate a site. Any other way you get rid of him, site stays with your opponent (end of turn discard, Argument Ready to Hand etc).

Freca can control one site only (if it could control multiple sites, it would be worded "When you play Freca, you may take control of a site for each other [Dunland] Man you spot".

Great explanation.
Thanks!
