Title: Conviction in Decipher Fraud Case
Post by: ramolnar on July 30, 2009, 10:49:51 PM
As much as we complain, and we should, about Decipher errors, they had a very big problem to deal with. The lack of funds made things very difficult. It's rather sad.

Here's the story from the local newspaper. I didn't notice that anyone posted this here.

Interesting read. I am curious to see if Eddleman's wife gets convicted as well (there's no way she didn't know about the stealing).

Definately interesting..

I wonder if they will ever reprint cards from the last few sets or make cards for the hobbit movies..?

I hope that they'll revive the LOTR TCG. Now that, seems a bit far-fetched, so I would be happy if they made the Hobbit TCG, and made it compatitable with the LOTR TCG. I really hope it happens.

Wow a very interesting read.  That #%^hole should receive a lot more than 6 years!  The comments posted below the article are exactly right.. this guy probably has the money stowed away in a foreign account.  Give him 25+ for crying out loud!  Otherwise in the end its still a net gain for the douche.

It always makes me laugh (cynically) when I read things like this and the guilty party says, "Oh, I am soooo sorry, so ashamed!" I have to think, "Sure, you're sorry... that you were caught!" I just can't believe it's genuine.

I say the same thing!  He wasn't sorry for any of the 10 years or so that he was getting away with all this...
