There, the title says it. What do you think are the best choices of the fellowship companions for a 9 walkers deck?

Frodo, resolute Hobbit,
Sam, Great Elf Warrior
Merry, Loyal companion
Pippin, brave decoy
Gandalf Returned / Wise Guide / Leader of the company
Legolas, Skeptical Guide
Gimli, Sprinter
Aragorn, Heir to the throne of Gondor
Boromir, Steward's Heir

i like gandelf friend of shirefolk legolas greenleaf and frodo son of drogo but if your starting fellowship is aragorn & frodo i'd use well travelled guide.

Bormir, DH is a good one for possessions. The 8 strength and extra bonus are helpful.
