He you guys, wouldn't it be nice to be able to rate decks? Like Decktech and like the articles back in the CC days? That way new people can see what decks are really good and what decks need attention.
-
I vote yes on that. I thought about it some days ago but I forgot it...
-
:uh-huh:
-
How does it work? who rates it and how much sway does this rating have overall?
-
1 - 5 numbered poll. Everyboby votes.

i'm 100% with you.

KTJ did it already, but that way everyone has to add a poll, maybe it can be included. I will PM Kralik, the web wizard is gone though it seems....

Concerns:
- Decks are often modified, so it seems unfair/misleading if it has to keep a previous rating. If ratings can be changed, there's still no guarantee that the people who rated it previously would bother or remember to update it.
- What rating criteria should be used? Some might stick with competitiveness, some might give credit for creativity, and some might give it a rock-bottom rating simply because they think the deck is cheap. Categorizing the decks somehow might help here.
- Hopefully this won't happen, but cleaning up after rating feuds does not sound fun. :P
I think ratings would be useful in a deck bible, assuming the deck lists are fixed. I'm not so sure about its place in a deck review forum though, where some decks are still being molded. Thoughts?
