Please, specify why...
EDIT: Please note: Poorman's and Highlander can be used in any Format - as a kind of extra challenge. Let us know, if you prefer a certain format in Poorman / Highlander.

Well, I currently have placed 100% of the votes on standard! :uh-huh:
I would always prefer to play the format that is most supported and uses the most modern cards. This is not a question of power level - even though later sets can sometimes be over the top - I also play only standard Magic.
Thranduil
-
Movieblock. IMHO the most balanced block. (if you leave LR out, as a gentlemans agreement)

Its a tough choice between movie and fellowship, but I'm going for movie because it has more deck options, is the most balanced, and has the best pictures :uh-huh:
-
Most popular format... among whom?
-
Whenever I play, it's expanded. I love throwing old decks against new ones... especially when I crush with [Dunland]...
-
Standard is my preference, for similar reasons to Thran.
-
Casual for me. Any card can be used this way. It allows me to express and fully immerse myself into LOTR without have to follow decktypes. :)
-
Expanded, def. Why have the cards if we can't use them? And expanded doesn't have too many crazy, infinite, ridiculous stuff.
-
Most popular are movie and standard, though I much prefer fellowship. 8-)
-
Tower.
It's the block I started with and cccorniv have the best matches in this format. Fellowship is a close second though.
-
I don't have much playing experience, but judging from the games I played, movie block games were the most balanced.
I am very interested in Hunters Block, but I am still in process of getting enough cards to build at least two decks to play (because nobody else in my neck of the woods is interested in this block)...
-
As much as I like fellowship, I cast my vote in casual. Less pressure. I also enjoy poorman games
-
The poll is not for your favorite format, but which format is most popular among all.

No it allows you to get slaughtered in all too many ways

Not too many ridiculous stuff? Courtyard's Parapet? Expanded is for those who are unaware, ignorent, plain stupid, or blinded by the love for the game
Me thinks movie, then fellowship block and then standard.
-
I'll take "blinded by the love of the game" for 600!

pardon me, I misunderstood the poll question

^ I also did. Online, my vote stays, but at home we play expanded. No one has any cards past Shadows really, except for a few BR, so it is still pretty balanced and no really OP combos.
