A few months ago I made a deck based around Library of Orthanc and it honestly worked quite well. The main problem with this card is having your important fellowship cards stacked and discarded. This fellowship is designed to not have this problem as Gandalf, Greyhame brings back the characters and Weapon Store brings back the hand weapons (which are the only possessions / artifact I use). Having elven events discarded is good as well for Cirdan at the end of the game. Basically, Library helps you cycle your deck much faster.

The shadow is quite effective as well. Having the ability to give a strength bonus to your orcs means that 1 minion could overwhelm the ring-bearer if you have enough twilight. It also helps you to win some skirmishes to do some extra wounds. Also, being able to take some shadow cards in your hand at the end of the turn can stop your opponent from moving again. Finally, if you are lucky enough, you may even find a Isengard Tender stacked on it!

Also, I have to say this deck is quite fun to play as nobody played against something like this before.

Hmm...why not Eowyn, Lady of Ithilien with all the wounding? I mean, just switch those Elven Swords with Elven Bows...but then I guess that Weapon Store wouldn't be as effective...

....also, four copies of Still Needed are nearly required material in any deck with Elrond, Venerable Lord and Cirdan, the Shipwright. I'd put those in place of the random Defiance or Border Defenses.

Interesting to see a deck where Library of Orthanc is a centerpiece. Nice thought!

I don't have bows. Thanx for suggesting Still Needed, good idea.

Well, the point of the deck is to cycle faster, so I think 80 is okay in this case.

No problem. As I am looking more, I am a little intimidated by the deck size (80 cards)...would you be averse to getting this around 68-70?

I need a lot of card because every time I play an Isengard Orc, its like playing 2 cards cuz one get stacked.
