Title: Transferring Conditions
Post by: Anubis1Anpu on September 21, 2009, 10:34:38 PM
Greetigns all,
If I transferred a Portico to the Balrog in its first skirmish, does the condition remain for the fierce skirmish?

Yes it does, or you have to kill it in the first, what generally spoken the best solution is ;-)

Yep, any condition borne by a guy sticks unless it is discarded, specifically transferred away, or the guy bearing it is killed or discarded.

While this topic is current: cards like Portico are discarded when the minion they're attached to is discarded?

I was mistaken, then. I thought that adding the condition was a skirmish action, which only lasts until the skirmish is over, much like Defiance or any other skirmish action.

Sorry LMaD. For what it is worth, there are plenty of ways to get around it. Like...Saruman's Power.

Or, you could have a deck with a lot of conditions and possessions, which strangle [Gondor] pretty well. Catapult is their only defense.

I loved catapult.  I had a HUGE Knights/ninja gollum deck (40+ cards a side) that worked well.  High cycling with catapult and They Stole it.  I ran myself out of the deck occassionally I cycled so much.

My Knights deck has more soul than a sock with a hole. No really, though. It has They Stole It and Catapult. How coincidental.
