Title: When to play Rohirrim Army?
Post by: LoveMeAndDespair on September 26, 2009, 11:10:38 PM
Hi! I am curious whether I can play Rohirrim Army when I'm at my regroup phase, and I'm going to move again, so I don't get to draw cards and I skip the fellowship phase. It seems like that's when he's supposed to be played, but I just want to check. I don't usually play any regroup events, that's why I'm unsure of how it works.

Also, if I am playing him during the regroup, assuming I can do that, is there any card that helps make him cost less than the 5 twilight?

You may play this companion during the regroup phase, as a kind of regroup action. About Twilight I can not think about a card. But the red arrow is a good card in combo.

I like to combo Rohirrim Army with Theoden, Tall and Proud. Avenge the old man!

The Theoden, Tall and Proud combination is nice, but I've got to go with Elohir--use the Red Arrow to discard a Balrog during the assignment phase ([Gondor] ringbearer, anyone?) and you can even use the Red Arrow with Eomer, Keeper of Oaths to get everyone's weapons!
