Title: Dwarven Events (Freep only)
Post by: Gerontius on October 12, 2009, 11:11:43 AM
RB- Frodo w/ ATAR

Gimli, Feared Axeman (starting)
Sindri, DL (starting)
Grimir, DE x2
Durin III, DL x2
Linnar, DL
Dwarven Axe x4
Hand Axe x4
Axe of Erebor (Grab w/ Barazinbar)
Ring of Guile x2
Delving x4
Storm of Argument
Hall of Our Fathers x2
Flurry of Blows x4
Fallen Lord x3
Battle to the Last x2
Battle Fury x3
Dwarven Heart x4

Pretty much, the point of this deck is to always have 3-4 events ready to use for your dwarves. Hall of Our Fathers is extremely useful, and Sindri lets you play all events stacked on it. The dwarves are strong enough on their own, so you should be good. Dwarven Heart is there for healing. Discard it with Axe of Erebor or Grimir, or just leave it on for Battle to the Last. Preparations would be a good addition, but I don't have it  :). This is a huge deck; I have a full set of delving and a cycling shadow side, so I hopefully will get what I need. Comments?

Do you lose initiative with Halls of our Fathers? Exchanging is tricky wording IMHO. It is all about order. Do you take the 8 cards first and then put your hand on the card? It seems like a 'void' action, but fill me in please. It sounds like an ace idea though.

Dwarf-lords is a great card too. Playing cards from your discard pile is great.

I've always played you do because it seems that you place the cards from your hand onto halls of our fathers and then take the eight on halls of our fathers back into hand. I'm not sure though
