Title: Southron Killing the Ringbearer (Shadow Only)
Post by: joshhawking on October 29, 2009, 10:30:47 AM
Thought of a deck, that is quite weird, when I saw the TTT-Card Howl of Harad (4U236):

4x Mumak Chieftain
4x Southron Captain
4x Army of Haradrim
4x War Mumak
2x Mumak
4x Howl of Harad
2x Rallying Call
3x War Towers
3x Mumakil of the Harad
2x Seasoned Leader

Idea is quite simple: The key card is Howl of Harad, enabling you to make the freeps wound a ringbound companion. So it's just using Rallying call and War Towers to add threats, War Mumak, Mumak and Mumakil of the Harad to add Pool and then your Minions just have to win their fight 4 times, before the FP-Player can heal.
Ok, it has some weakness, is just useful for fellowships without other ringbound companions, but to me sounded fun.

I think it has to few minions, plus you're not safe from direct wounding (should add Line of Defense x 3).
Also, when playing mounts and Howl of Harad, you can use trample.
But by adding that and more minions (like Southron Wanderer), you should remove 2 war mumaks at least, 1 howl of harad,  and 1 Army of Haradrim.

PD= This should be movie block, don't you think?

If you are going to focus on RB kills, then play the auto-RB assigning Southrons, they have ambush which helps with Howl of Harad. High Vantage is a must.
