So, all else being equal, what type of deck do you prefer playing with? Mono-culture? Dual? Tri? Or maybe the legendary 5 culture deck (all original fellowship with support)?
-
My strongest fellowship runs [Gondor] [Elf] [Rohan] [Gandalf] and [Shire]
-
I love mulitculture as well. I think you can build the strongest decks as mulitculture, especially in standard.
-
I don't know... the strongest decks I've played against tend to be mono-culture. But then I do know some really good tri and dual culture decks. I also see a lot less dual culture shadow decks.
-
Mono-culture decks are normally less well equipped to deal with all the Shadows you could face.
Basically, the strongest FP's are wounding decks, and these are usually Rainbow.
-
I don't know. That can be true, but at the same time my (IRL) dwarven deck can take just about whatever is thrown at it in terms of strategy, with the possible exception of a hardcore corruption deck. I have a friend with a dwarven deck that is similarly strong, but made different (more event, token, and condition based). I also tend to see Rohan as a strong mono-culture deck. The remaining cultures seem meant to be dual-cultured, and that is what I encounter.
-
Dwarves die very horribly to Bill Ferny, Ninja Gollum, Archery and Corruption. Same for Rohan.
-
Archery and corruption, it depends on the deck. Ninja gollum, can be a problem, but adjust your strategy and you're fine, and explain a Bill Ferny deck to me please?
-
Bill Ferny, Agent of Saruman. He can't be assigned by the FP while he is unwounded, which means Gimli fighting constantly. If they dont overwhelm with Gathering Strength, you get corrupted by adding so many burdens to skirmish.
-
Use the one the great ring, or add Legolas Green leaf or Skeptical guide and maybe a Quick as may be. Gandalf, Wise Guide can also help. Problem solved. When I say mono-culture, just an explanation, I don't count companions, just support cards.
-
Oh, and in my deck I have Boromir, SoD and Legolas, EC to prevent that kind of thing.

Sorry!
